Michelle is a public health and nutrition specialist who has lived and worked in countries across Africa and Asia. Michelle’s field experience includes project design and management, capacity building, national policy and guideline development, social and behavior change communication, knowledge management, and scale-up strategies to accelerate nutrition programs. In recent years, Michelle has worked as an independent consultant for organizations such as UNICEF, World Bank-funded projects, and FHI360 in Sierra Leone and India. Prior to being a consultant, Michelle was the Nutrition Advisor for the International Training and Education Center on Health (I-TECH) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Namibia. Michelle now lives in the US and enjoys bringing her international perspective to a variety of US-based and global projects. Michelle holds a master’s in public health from Tufts University and has been a registered dietitian for 15 years.
