Alex is an interdisciplinary writer, researcher, creative strategist, and educator. Her areas of expertise include contemporary art and non-profit management, especially within cross-cultural contexts. For three years, she served as the Executive Director of Breaking Ground, an international NGO that partners with Cameroonians to achieve lasting solutions to their self-identified needs by investing in local knowledge, empowering women, and promoting economic development. At Bernuth & Williamson, Alex has conducted trend and opportunity research for a range of organizations including Pact and Earth Innovation Institute. She also teaches at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and contributes as a writer and editor to a number of online arts publications. Alex graduated with honors from Wesleyan University and holds an MFA from Claremont Graduate University. She is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom.
