Alison is experienced in web design, internet based research and social media communication. She has worked with a variety of non-profit organizations on web design and communications strategies. A citizen of the UK and permanent U.S. resident, she continues to advise and work for non-profits on both sides of the Atlantic. At Bernuth & Williamson, she has conducted research for a range of organizations including the Encyclopedia of Life, the Ernest Becker Foundation, Genesis Philanthropy Group and Association for Childhood Education International. Alison holds a PhD in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Aberdeen in the UK, and worked for several years as a post-doctoral contract researcher in the field of environmental microbiology.
